  1. After doing extensive research about the career as a Deck Officer I feel that I am very interested. However I have completed my engineering and am 21 years old right now. Is there a way for me to join merchant navy? It is it advisable? If so which is the best course and institute? Please let me know.

    Thanks

    • If you have completed your engineering with branches such as Mechanical,Naval architecture, electronics or electric etc. It’s quite easy for you to make through. Or else if you are interested in joining Navigation/Deck department you must undergo graduation courses ,which can be DNS leading to BSc Nautical Science .
